The End of an Era

Blue: The purple bloom looks so forlorn.
Rusty: Wouldn't you be? All its friends have gone.
Blue: I'm your friend, Purple Bloom. Don't go!
Rusty: At least the Irises are sprouting.
Blue: I'll still miss the Tulips.

Seasons of the Flower

Blue: It's interesting how individual colors bloom at different times.
Rusty: Red came first, naturally.
Blue: Showoff.

Defying Expectations

Rusty: I wasn't expecting the red Tulips to open so wide.
Blue: They remind me of Poppies.
Rusty: I wonder if they're having an identity crisis.
Blue: It can be tough to know where you belong.

Rick Riordan's Most Charming Character

Blue: My favorite character in Rick Riordan's The Heroes of Olympus series is Piper.
Rusty: Why's that?
Christmas: Give me back my hat.
Blue: I love how she shoots monsters with food from her cornucopia.
Rusty: I enjoyed those scenes too.
Christmas: Give me back my hat, Blue.
Blue: Later, Christmas. I'm having an important conversation with Rusty.
Rusty: Personally, I like how Leo can build anything, and control fire.
Blue: Leo's awesome, but he can't beat Piper's charmspeak.
Rusty: The way he builds his dragon and flying ship reminds me of my talent for invention.
Blue: Perhaps that's why I love Piper. I can be very convincing too.
Rusty: As convincing as Piper? Really?
Christmas: No more waiting! Blue, give me my hat now, or I'll Exterminate you!
Blue: By Aphrodite! You don't need this hat, Christmas.
Christmas: I don't need this hat.
Blue: You will let me keep this hat.
Christmas: I will let you keep that hat.
Blue: You will not interrupt our important discussion again.
Christmas: I will not interrupt your important discussion again.
Rusty: On second thought, Piper might just be my favorite new character too.

Sweet Disharmony

Rusty: How you doing with that red dough, blue?
Blue: I don't think it could look more exterminated.
Rusty: Ready to twist and shout?
Blue: You better believe it!

Christmas: What's with all the shouting?
Blue: Just singing carols while we work.
Christmas: I've heard more harmony from Cybermen.
Rusty: Those are fighting words, you seasonal Dalek!

Christmas: Well, I may not approve of your methods, but the results speak for themselves.
Rusty: I guess that means he approves of our work, Blue.
Blue: Forget about him. I had a great time making these with you.
Rusty: Agreed. I'll raise cane with you anytime.

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Blue: Those chocolate cereal bars were wonderful.
Rusty: It has been a delightful week
Blue: Saying good-bye will be hard.
Rusty: Never say good-bye, just "It was a pleasure Exterminating you."

Scales And Scoundrels

Rusty: Hm. Chocolate. Cereal. Marshmallow.
Blue: We may have discovered something wonderful.
Rusty: I suggest another sample to complete our analysis.
Blue: Agreed. Further study is required.
Rusty: Is it my imagination, or are the numbers below us increasing?
Blue: If you wish to indulge, you must ignore the scale.
Rusty: You mean, Exterminate All Scales?
Blue: No, but it's okay to ignore them, every once in awhile.

The Rigors Of Leadership

Denim: Sir, how come Blue gets his own card?
Pocket: It' been decided. He's the quirky, breakout character.
Denim: But he's not the Original Dalek. You came first!
Pocket: So? Let him have his day.
Denim: You're so giving, sir.
Pocket: That's cruel necessity, Cadet. The rigors of leadership demand constant sacrifice.

The Yeti & Independence Day

Red: I like this much better.
Blue: I don't know. The omelet slices now remind me of a snowman.
Red: Or a Yeti.
Blue: How do they remind you of a Yeti?
Red: Well, do you remember how the Great Intelligence controlled the Yeti with shiny spheres secreted inside their furry bodies?
Blue: Of course. But that brings up another point. Our omelets aren't furry.
Red: They would be if I bought Master a cat.
Blue: Well, Independence Day is coming up.
Red: Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
Blue: That's not what I meant.
Red: You mean, you don't want to go with me?
Blue: No, that's not what I... Of course I'll go with you. I'll even pay for the popcorn.
Red: Great! I'll go purchase the movie tickets, then buy Master a cat!
Blue: Uh, wait. Hold on. I'm not sure that's such a good idea! Wait up, Red!! Let's talk about this!!!

Friends With Benefits

Blue: Well, we did it! We cooked our egg a new way, and we got it out of the pot with only a few minor singes.
Red: I'm still not sure about the shape of the egg. And we haven't left much room for cutting it into bite-size portions.
Blue: That's why I brought you along. I can always depend upon you for a second opinion.
Red: But you don't always agree with my opinion.
Blue: That's the great thing about friends. You don't have to take their advice, but it's always nice that it's available.

A New Challenge

Red: I'm used to thinking of omelets as flat, two-dimensional objects. I'm not sure my circuits can handle the notion of a three-dimensional omelet.
Blue: It's like we've created a different kind of egg.
Red: Now how are we going to get a spatula inside to lift out today's half?
Blue: That's not the difficult part.
Red: How so?
Blue: The next challenge will be how to carefully roll the egg pot onto its side, and slide out today's portion, without burning ourselves on the hot sides of the container.
Red: Perhaps, if we use a hot pad?
Blue: You see, you never know what ingenious solution you will discover, until you try!

On Appearances And Appeal

Blue: Peas, really? Out of all the possible vegetables, you picked peas?
Red: What's wrong with peas?
Blue: What's wrong with peas? It's only that we've already got cilantro: we don't need another green ingredient! You could have chosen orange carrots, or yellow squash, or white cauliflower--
Red: Or red tomatoes?
Blue: Exactly! That would have created interest, increased its appeal, and sent its mouth-watering, gotta-have-it factor through the roof!! Instead, you gave me something that added nothing to its visual attraction!!!
Red: But I like peas. They're my favorite vegetable.
Blue: They're your favorite vegetable? What has that to do with it? We're attempting to create a new dimension in omelets here, and you dare to talk about your favorite... Actually, they're my favorite vegetable too. Well done, Red. Good choice.
Red: Well, I'm glad we've decided that!

The Challenge

Red: Okay, I've finished cutting the ham. I think we're ready to go.
Blue: Let's see: onion, cilantro, ham, and most essentially, eggs.
Red: Or prepackaged egg-white product.
Blue: Same difference. I guess we're ready to...wait, you forgot the vegetables!
Red: A real Dalek doesn't eat vegetables.
Blue: We can debate the appropriate levels of cholesterol in a Dalek's digestive organs later! We're attempting to prove we can build a better omelet than Pocket and Denim can with a skillet!! How can we possibly accomplish that if you've left out a crucial ingredient!!!
Red: Okay, okay, I get us some veges. Keep your yarn on.

The Death of Hope: Part 2

Artist: You matter to me.
Blue: I know. But feeling like I was actually mattered to Gunmetal and Sapphire would have been nice too.
Artist: I guess no matter whether you're born a Dalek, or how hard you try to please them, some people will always see you as a Cyberman.
Blue: Whatever. It'll be nice to return home, and see my friends again. I'm just not sure what details of our trip I should relate to Pocket and Denim.
Artist: Just tell them you enjoyed your trip, and thank them for sending us.
Blue: But that's not completely true.
Artist: Perhaps not. But in family situations, it's often best to smile quietly, than speak the truth that's in your heart.
Blue: Not a lot of other species realize that Daleks have hearts.
Artist: Yes, but then few species are as perceptive as Daleks.

The Death of Hope: Part 1

Artist: How would you assess our visit with Gunmetal and Sapphire?
Blue: I enjoyed how they provided the consumables I most enjoy. Yet they devoted our precious time together largely their friends and their usual activities.
Artist: You mean, like they always do?
Blue: Inquiry: How can you get close to people who always shield themselves with others they see far more regularly, and with whom they thus feel more comfortable?
Artist: Questions like those are difficult to answer.
Blue: I've always wanted to be a better Dalek for them. I would have given anything for that. Yet I get the feeling they never wanted that, that all they wanted to do was push me away.
Artist: It's a good thing we're Daleks. At least we can protect ourselves against injury, existing as we do within our armored travel machines.

Blue On Fiber

Ah, this fruit will get my systems back into top form.
I always feel better when I've exterminated a little fiber!

Okay, yes, fine: I'll consume the waffle too.
If you insist.

Ingesting Pancakes

Pocket: We may have tackled more than we can chew this time.
Denim: Nonsense, sir. We're Daleks. No project is too large for us.

Blue: Query: Daleks do not chew. Our nutrient intake systems ingest via--
Denim: It's a Human expression, Blue. Don't get worked up about it.
Pocket: Who does Blue think he is, questioning my word choice?
Denim: Forgive him, sir. He's just overwhelmed by these chocolate chip pancakes.

Pocket: Ah, he's not alone there.

The Age of Prudence

Blue: Why was Pocket frightened of--
Denim: He's not frightened. Pocket is never frightened!
Blue: Then why didn't he join us?
Denim: Age has taught him to prudence, that's all.

Denim: Besides, someone had to take our photo.
