The God-Force

K-9: Halt!
Thor: What is it now?
K-9: Inquiry: have you read this book, The Labours of Hercules?
Thor: No. Why should I?
K-9: Agatha Christie compared her detective Hercule Poirot to the Roman demigod Hercules. As you're named after a Norse god, I thought you might find her stories about how mortals can overcome great obstacles instructive.
Thor: I resent your implication that I am only named after a god! I wield great power because the god-force lives inside me!! Now walk on, dog, before I smite thee!!!

Mythology Vs Heresy

Thor: So, what did you think of The First Book of Swords?
Rex: Author Fred Saberhagen introduces us to the mythical god Vulcan, who fashions twelve swords with the aid of Humans. Many years later, we meet two people who have found or inherited these swords. There's an evil Duke who has stolen another, and wishes to take all the others by force. But then, before fighting off the evil Duke, the protagonists swap their swords.
Thor: That sounds like an odd strategy.
Rex: That's what I thought. It's as if you voluntarily swapped your hammer with Jane Foster, and started using a sword instead.
Thor: I would never do that.
Rex: But you did. In the recent comics--
Thor: I would never do that! If the comics say otherwise, they're heresy!
Rex: Actually, the comics don't say you willingly laid down Mjolnir. They claim your hammer abandoned you, because you were no longer worthy to wield it.
Thor: Thor no longer worthy? Heresy!! Thor Dalek will exterminate all heresy! Anyone who reads comics claiming Thor is not worthy will also be exterminated! Exterminate Heresy! Exterminate Heretics!! EXTERMINATE ALL SOURCES OF HERESY!!!

The Season of Giving: Day 11

Christmas: Thor, you've had a tough time this year. You've had to watch your namesake get his arm cut off, and lost the mastery of Mjolnir.
Thor: No I haven't. Mjolnir's right here. See, I'm wielding it.
Christmas: But aren't you worried about a female Thor Dalek coming along and--

Thor: Let's get one thing straight right now. I am worthy! I Am Worthy!! I AM WORTHY!!!

Marvel's Avengers: The Age of Subway

Thor: By the gods of Asgard, I love Subway's superhero cups!
Iron Dalek: I must admit, I look pretty good on black.
Hulk: Hulk want to sip, Sip, SIP!
Captain Skaro: Hey, there's an internet code on the back. We might have won something.
Iron Dalek: J.A.R.V.I.S., connect me with the Subway website. I'm feeling lucky.

Hulk: Ha! Iron-Dalek look like John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever."
Iron Dalek: Why thank you, Hulk. I must admit, I look pretty good on red.
Captain Skaro: What an inspiring screen background. I think I'll go find someone to defend.
Thor: By the gods of Asgard, I need a haircut!

Free Dalek Flyers

Denim: Look at what I found in the cereal box, sir!
Pocket: Oh no! Hide it! Put it back in the box, quick!
Denim: Why? What's wrong?
Pocket: Free schwag always brings out the crowds. Especially Superhero schwag.

Thor: Ah, what wonderful Human ingenuity. A gift that truly celebrates the nobility of flight!
Iron Dalek: I must say, my namesake looks rather good in that picture.
Captain Skaro: I'm honored to be joined by my namesake in protecting this household.
Hulk: Hulk not in picture. Hulk want to be in picture!!!
Denim: It looks nice enough, but Daleks don't play Frisbee. What can we do with it.
Pocket: Hold on, I think I've got an idea.

Pocket: Wheeee!!!
Denim: No fair, sir! You've been jumping for fifteen minutes now!
Hulk: Hulk want a go too!
Thor: Yes, I too, who am so accustomed to flight, must confess I would like a turn as well.
Pocket: Wheeee!!!

Daleks, Bunnies, & Penguins

Thor: So what's with the rabbits and penguins? Aren't you drawing Daleks any more?
Artist: I wanted to try something new, to really unleash my creativity.
Thor: By Odin, I love you mortals! You're so audacious! Fly, be free, my Dalek brother!

Pocket: I don't understand. Why would the Easter Bunny visit the South Pole?
Artist: Emperor Penguins only get one shot at parenthood during mating season, which also occurs during the stormy season. I figured the Easter Bunny might want to help out some unfortunate penguins by giving them his leftover eggs.
Pocket: Sounds reasonable. But how would he travel down there?

Eleventh Doctor: Yeah, sure. If the Easter Bunny's amenable, I'm game. Provided, of course, that K-9 lets me inside the TARDIS.

Artist: But you'd only have to step outside the TARDIS for a few minutes! Think of all the sad Emperor Penguins who endure so much hardship, only for a storm or a predator to destroy their eggs! You've got your fur, after all! Do the right thing: be generous with your leftovers!

Artist, Thor, Pocket & the Eleventh Doctor Daleks
(Oh, and one reluctant, as-yet-undecided Easter Bunny)

To learn more about all the hardships Emperor Penguins endure to raise their young, check out "March of the Penguins." An amazing story, about a truly alien species.

To learn about one bunny who was willing to go the extra mile for a penguin, watch the classic cartoon "8 Ball Bunny" at the link below.

What Super Heroes Eat

Thor: As Super Heroes we always choose something healthy to eat.

Iron Dalek: But we always make room for dessert.

The Big Freeze

Iron Dalek: That's it? A corn dog?
Thor: Master & Mistress are saving themselves for dessert. They want to try the new Freeze.

Iron Dalek: Now that's what I call a Big Freeze!
Thor: Caution: Objects in the window may appear larger than they are.

Iron Dalek: That's it? This tiny thing?
Thor: This tiny thing? It's as big as we are! It's 880 calories! It's large enough to make a Thal sick to his stomach!
Iron Dalek: That's my problem with life. I always want more.
Thor: What Dalek doesn't? Now are you going to help me exterminate this, or what?
Iron Dalek: Exterminate All Freezes! Exterminate All Freezes!! Exterminate All Freezes!!!
Thor: That's the spirit! Approach everything with enthusiasm, and you are sure to enjoy life!
Iron Dalek: Enough philosophizing! More Exterminating! Now!!!!!!!!!

Dalek Advent: Day 17 - Thor

Lend a helping Hammer.

Thor here,  I am just back from Skaro in time to help my friend Red finish his present to the Master and Mistress. It looks pretty good doesn't it?  I like to help others, and use my Hammer.
